Skin Correct PH

Two weeks ago, Skin Correct sent me their products in exchange for an honest review. I got excited when I received it because I’ve been reading good reviews of this brand, so I tried it later that night, and I can say the products work wonders on my skin and my sister’s skin.

 ABOUT SKIN CORRECT

“We at Skin Correct aim to provide you cosmetics with Clinical Grade Ingredients for your specific skin needs. Our products are paraben, artificial scent, talc, and color free to ensure the safety of use.”

PACKAGING:
  • The products are in white plastic bottles with their brand name on it, short descriptions and ingredients of the products, expiration dates, and FDA control numbers.
  • The label stickers do easily come off when it gets wet.
  • It’s good that the products come in pump bottles because I can control the amount of product that I’m going to use, and
  • It’s more hygienic plus I read somewhere that some ingredients in acne clarifying products can be sensitive to contamination when exposed to air and light.

ACNE CLARIFYING FACIAL WASH

  • A mild cleanser and antibacterial
  • Creates a skin barrier to prevent breakouts
  • Sulfate free

INGREDIENTS: Salicylic Acid, DI Water, Azelaoyl Potassium Diglicinate Chamomile Extract, Moringa Oleifera Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Decyl Glucoside, Disodium Lauriminodiacetate.

PRICE: Php300

THOUGHTS:
  • Water-based
  • It slightly smells like water in swimming pools. I don’t know if I only have a strange smell or what, but it’s tolerable.
  • I always use this morning and night after using Biore Cleansing Oil. I can already tell it’s effective because it removes the oil from my cleansing oil. My face feels fresh.
  • I had a wow moment the first time I used this because a pimple on my chin dried out the next day. Of course, I still get a pimple when it’s my time of the month. Hormonal imbalance sucks.
  • Of all cleansers I have tried, this is the first time that wow-ed me.

ACNE CLARIFYING SOLUTION

  • Alcohol-free
  • Use as a toner for a quick solution to lessen oiliness.
  • Hydrates the skin and creates a skin barrier to lessen breakouts.

INGREDIENTS: Azelaoyl glycine, mandelic acid, chamomile, DI Water, Azelaoyl Potassium Diglicinate Lactic Acid, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol.

PRICE: Php270

THOUGHTS:
  • Water-based.
  • Fragrance-free.
  • Helps my skin feel fresh and smooth.
  • Removes excess oil and dirt.
  • Minimizes my pores.
  • It has the same effect of Acne Clarifying Face Wash. It’s best to use both for fast and great results.
  • I accidentally got this toner in my eye (no joke haha!) I didn’t feel anything.

M EMOLLIENT CREAM

  • Moisturizing and soothing cream

INGREDIENTS: Ceramides, Sweet Almond Oil, Allantoin, DI Water, Xanthan Gum, Glycerine, Allantoin, Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Acrylates Polymer, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-75 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Capric Triglyceride, Squalene, Caprylyl Glycol, Arginine.

PRICE: Php300

THOUGHTS:
  • Light on face
  • Non-sticky
  • This emollient cream is for dry and sensitive skin, so it makes my face oily.
  • But is also making my face feel soft and smooth.

M GENTLE CLEANSE

INGREDIENTS: Ceramides, Sunflower Oil, Allantoin, DI Water, Glycerine, Betaine, Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid, PEG 120 Methyl Lucose Trioleate and Propane Diol Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol and Ceteaeth-20, Ethylexylglycerine, Citric Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Glucamate, and Disodium Cocoyl Glucamate.

PRICE: Php300

THOUGHTS:
  • My sister is the one who’s using this cleanser because she has dry skin.
  • She told me that it’s effective along with the M Emollient Cream.
  • It’s also perfect because of the cold weather and helps her face feel moisturized.
I now know why my fellow bloggers are raving about these products. Not only because they’re affordable, but because of its effectiveness and having zero chemicals.
