“Essential oils are organic compounds extracted from plants with tremendous healing properties. Using essential oils for healing purposes is often called aromatherapy, which is a holistic treatment seeking to improve physical, mental and emotional health” -Dr. Axe
I tried aromatherapy for a week, and I can’t believe its effectiveness. I’m thankful to @getrollinph for sending these to me in exchange for an honest review. I didn’t expect the oils to become my holy grail.
Here are my thoughts:
The packaging is simple. I can already smell the oils after opening the package, and it instantly made me feel relaxed. Plus I can always bring it everywhere because it’s pocket-friendly and doesn’t take too much space in my small bag.
I like the names of the oils - so cute and so PUNny. Haha.
Counting Sheep
I was so excited to use this one when the package came. It’s hard for me to fall asleep and my mind is always making it worse. But after applying this on my temples, behind the ears, and soles of my feet, I’ve felt relaxed. I stopped waking up in the middle of the night.
Ohh Nose!
This one doesn’t get rid the colds (they have one for that) but rid my stuffy nose and helps me breathe. It’s like Vick’s vapor rub except that it doesn’t have a cooling sensation.
Zing!
I didn’t expect this one to have a menthol. I don’t know if it has menthol in it, though, but I felt a cooling sensation when I used it, and I liked it for it because it really can help you focus on what you’re doing.
Verdict:
Counting sheep is my favorite. I’ve been looking for ways to calm my mind and help me sleep at night since last year, and I’m glad I’ve found a natural remedy.
