WHAT IS IT?
The toner targets, of course, the troubled skin. The pad is pre-soaked in betaine salicylate (BHA) and willow bark water. It controls acne, oil, removes dirt, and also gently exfoliates the skin.
PACKAGING: I got sold by Stylekorean’s Christmas edition of this product. The special edition comes with 70 pads, travel container, and stickers, and I like the packaging because of its illustration. It’s cute.
INGREDIENTS: Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betaine Salicylate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arginine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Panthenol, Allantoin, Ethyl Hexanediol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate.
APPLICATION: I cut this in half so I can maximize my usage of the pad. I, then swipe the embossing side across the face after cleansing for exfoliating, removing dirt and sebum, and then the softer side to pick up the remaining debris.
Make sure you replace the lid tightly, so the pads stay wet and clean.
SCENT: The smell is a bit strong but doesn’t bother me that much.
RESULT: I have to admit that I am disappointed. I expected a lot from this product because of the hype and good reviews. The pad didn’t do me much. I thought it’d dry-up and heal pimples fast, or prevent hormonal pimples from popping.
Remember, what may not work for me, may work for you, so it's better if you try it yourself.
VERDICT: I’m still using this, though because I haven’t finished the tub yet. I like that it doesn’t sting, really exfoliates, and removes the dirt of the skin, plus it’s hassle-free. It doesn’t take too much space when you travel, and no need to use cotton.
I’m not going to buy the tub again, just the One Step Pimple Clear Kit because it’s easy to bring.
